Word from Sofia:

Osaka was founded by two students who met in Paris while studying Science in Management at ESCP Europe. One of them happened to be me. Osaka Cannes was my first ever entrepreneurial initiative. Aside from doing a bit of everything, I was in charge of directing all software, creative, marketing and, business decisions.

Osaka was an eccentric food delivery service located in Cannes, France. We were devoted to building a concept around an incredible gastronomic experience for clients interested in buying sushi or champagne, from the comfort of their boats, while being anchored in the sea.

Throughout a 7 month process we slowly achieved everything we had planned out for the business to succeed. One of our most significant accomplishments came after meeting with the LVMH Diageo representative for Cote D’Azur, as it was our gateway to landing  partnerships with prestigious Champagne brands; Moët & Chandon and Dom Perignon.

Three weeks before launching, we decided that it would be best to postpone the debut indefinitely after legal discrepancies arose amongst the partners.

Osaka is still one of the most important learning experiences I have lived and I am very grateful to everyone that contributed to it.
